VholdR has rolled out the worlds first HD wearable camcorder known as the ContourHD, which is capable of shooting 720p video at 30fps and WVGA (858 x 480) video at 60fps. The camera is equipped with a rotating 192 degree lens along with a 135 degree wide angle lens and dual lasers to help users accurately align shots. CompoBank of Korea will release a 3D digital camera and a 7-inch 3D digital photo frame that can display pictures taken by the camera in Japan in Autumn 2009. The 3D digital camera utilizes a side-by-side format, where image data for both left- and right-eye images are placed side-by-side to form a data format of a 3D image. The output can be switched to anaglyph format, which requires red/cyan glasses to view 3D images, and can be used for 3D printing that uses lenticular lens sheets. Meanwhile, the 3D digital photo frame uses the two-view parallax barrier method, which enables to see 3D images with the naked eye. The frame features a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a function to convert pictures and moving images from 2D to 3D....
