It is a 12.1-inch business laptop that has an Intel processor options (a 2.20GHz Celeron or 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo), a 1GB or 2GB of RAM, a WXGA (1,200 x 800) glossy display, a 4-cell battery (a 6-cell is available), WiFi, three USB 2.0 ports. FireWire, Gigabit Ethernet, VGA output, ExpressCard slot, a multicard reader and a 1.3MP webcam. The 12.1-inch Dell Vostro 1220 is priced at 79,980 Yen ($837) upwards, depending on the specs. Weighing only about 1Kg, this portable machine sports a 10.1-inch WSVGA LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270/N280 processor, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB HDD, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 3G, WiFi, a 4-in-1 card reader, 3x USB ports and Windows XP OS. Samsung starts selling the 10-inch N310 and the N510 in the US market. The N310 is also known as the Samsung Go, which will arrive this July 15th onwards for around $479.
