ViewSonic has announced two new netbooks namely the VNB100 and VNB101. The VNB100 will come in four different colors including black, white, yellow and hot pink, while the VNB101 will come in black, red and champagne, all with a special coating to protect them from spills and wear. As for the specs itself, the VNB100 will feature a 10.2-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, a 1.3MP webcam, a memory card reader, WiFi, 3 USB 2.0 ports and an ExpressCard 34 slot. Meanwhile, the VNB101 will offer the same 10.2-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, a 0.3MP webcam, a rear mounted memory card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth and a USB 2.0 port on each side. The VNB100 and VNB101 will be released at the end of this month in Asia-Pacific and later this year in Europe for £256 and £293, respectively. [Pocket-Lint]
