Genius will be dropping two new pen tablets called the G-Pen M712 and M609. Both featuring Vista / Mac-compatible software, 4,000 LPI resolutions, rolling pads at the top for scrolling, zooming and adjusting volume. The M609 features a display of 9- x 5.5-inches (wide) / 7.25- x 5.5-inches (standard) 26 hot keys in comparison to the M712 featuring a display of 12- x 7.25-inches (wide) / 9.5- x 7.25-inches (standard) and 34 hot keys. Heres a look at BenQs upcoming UMPC called the mid. It has an Intel Atom processor (the base 800MHz model), 512MB of RAM, a 4GB SSD hard drive, HSPDA support along with wifi and bluetooth. The UMPC will also feature a G-Senser for direct touch and free movement to surf on internet, voice activation, and optional GPS. No word on the price or availability of the mid at this time. 3K computers has recently released a new Asus Eee-PC competitor. Dubbed as the 3K Longitude 400, this laptop is weaker than its competitor. The gadget is powered by a 7 inch 800480 display, 400 Mhz CPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB of storage, Wi-Fi, Wired Ethernet and three USB 2.0 ports. No word on pricjg so far.
